I don’t care why the money is being given as long as it’s being given.
Hell, my old college newsroom is named after FUCKING Roger Ailes. I find him repugnant but the newsroom needed updating and the only way to get it out of the 1980’s was with private money.
Pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter. Zuck is still a privacy vampire (but most people are dumb enough to give him their information, so really, that’s on us) but this is great for Newark.
Money won’t solve the problems with Newark’s education system, but it sure as hell gives them a better chance at succeeding.
I also have a lot of faith in Corey Booker to lead Newark and use the money wisely.
