spacebaw: The ruling NDP party’s headquarters continues to burn as military armored vehicles suround the NDP building and the nearby Egyptian Museum. The 8-12 story building’s interior has already been completely razed and smaller buildings in the NDP compound are also ablaze. Firefighters are still unable to reach the buildings as protesters continue to defy the curfew and are gathered in the streets.  The Kuwaiti government has distributed massive economic and social aid to all of their citizens in an effort to prevent similar protests. Many analysts are mentioning the potential for the situation in Egypt, Tunisa and Yemen to create a domino effect across the Middle East and North Africa, similar to the 1989 mass revolutions in Soviet and Yugoslav controlled Eastern Europe.
