Jen (not pictured above) is a social media guru. She is on what some people irritatingly refer to as “the bleeding edge” when it comes to all the ways — both wonderful and creepy — that one can interact with other humans online. Among her new delights is Neighborhoodr, a group of blogs segregated by New York neighbhorhood to which people can post items specific to their ‘hoods (or the ‘hoods in which they witness blogworthy events). Jen likes Neighborhoodr because it gives her (and her hoodrats) a means to communicate specifically about the space in which they live.
I like it because its LES blog directed me to a NYT article about David Byrne riding his bike through (among other places) the LES. I loooove David Byrne. Don’t you?
