I’m sorry, but it’s quite self-involved of you to credit their revolution to how much Americans are paying attention. To say their revolution is over because of us is wrong on so many levels. They are their own country, they are their own people, they have their own revolution, and they are strong. We diverting our attention towards something else temporarily isn’t going to bring down their cause because we are (rightfully) only offering moral support anyway. To imply otherwise is simply presumptuous and, quite frankly, arrogant.
