Now, what do you have to do to have a chance to win all this stuff? It couldn’t be easier. In fact, thousands of people have already done it: we want you to make a Muxtape. But we want a Muxtape with a theme: the perfect Summer mix. Interpret the theme however you like, and make a Muxtape out of it.
Easy enough, right? We’re allotting two weeks for you to come up with your perfect Summer mix, then we’ll begin the judging and hand out the prizes after that.
here is my PERFECT SUMMER MIX.

“When you want to create your own font but don’t want to learn the archaic process for doing so, you want free font designer webapp FontStruct. FontStruct provides simple tools to color in integrated blocks. You can fill out just one key letter or a whole font, distribute your creation freely or with rights reserved, and offer it up as an easy-to-install TrueType font.”
Pretty effing cool.
All of the songs that you weren’t listening to in 1987. Get ready to party like you’re not having fun!
its like a soundtrack to every horrible 80s movie and i fucking love it.

ignoring that the men in this picture are/were members of one of the most famous bands (the beatles) in the world, the colors and details are astounding. by examining the expressions on all of their faces, it really exemplifies that every photo tells a story. anyway, a velvet blazer? a ruffled, floral blouse? sick.
paul’s blazer, shirt, scarf combo would fit right now in if the suit wasn’t so big. ringo looks like a fucking accountant. btw, ringo has a really interesting hbo special on now with dave stewart worth checking out.
no one’s gonna love you - band of horses
great song.

“The biggest laugh came from Mr. Fallon’s signature bit, “The Barry Gibb Talk Show,” in which Mr. Fallon and Justin Timberlake (as Robin Gibb) quavered and danced their way through impersonations of the BeeGees.”
I’ll always like Jimmy Fallon for that sketch alone.

fek:
Better? I also engaged Brian Van in this dialogue, too. Jesus. Buncha fuckin’ crybabies, the lot of you are. Enough about me, already. Did you see what Dana posted today?
Do you think love is a fun distraction to daily living, until it becomes our daily living and then its no so fun anymore?
In relation to relationships that become undeniably comfortable after a significant amount of time that we’re too afraid to face the reality of the “not so fun”.
it can be if the person you were with is insufferably boring, unfunny, and basically incapable of creative ways to keep things from becoming comfortable.
srsly. there still are haters?
what ruins her for me is that shes married to DAVID FUCKING SILVER from 90210. she married the even whiter version of vanilla ice. how sad. hot girls really do love douchebags.
from i love fashion, debating the opposing view of i hate fashion, from vice magazine’s fashion issue (on stands).
dressing has always been about personal choices, and while many people have different opinions about the issue, we can all agree that style is a matter of individuality.

this is a brilliant debate for someone like myself who is a bit skeptical about fashion. i’ll admit i watched the devil wears prada this weekend (no homo, hathaway is a fucking fox) and it gave me a bit more of an appreciation for what goes into building a design out of fabrics.

dude decides to write letters to several famous (and infamous) people, but pretends he’s a 10 year old. the first few are from serial killers (very creepy) but he gets politicians too. it actually made me hate clarence thomas just a little bit less. (from radar)

Museums target younger patrons with chic after-hours events
Venus Zine has a great feature on after-hours events for the young, urbanite set in various cities across the U.S. including Chicago, LA and New York. The feature deals with local museum based events. I personally have always wanted to attend the First Fridays at the MCA (strictly 21+).

I am in the 6th ring, where are you?
